Description: Lake County Creative Consulting (LCCC) is seeking a mural artist or team to create 8 murals for installation in Clearlake that showcases the history and beauty of Clearlake’s heydays. We intend for the murals to provide a visual representation of our town in its glory, inspired by our colorful history as a place for people to connect, love, build, soak in the music, the hot springs, and the vibes of Clearlake. Much of the history can be found in our museums and with curators in Lakeport, Middletown, and Lower Lake. Muralists may submit and be chosen for more than one mural.
Theme: Clearlake in its heyday. Can be people, plants, vehicles, nature, music, etc
Sizes: 8×16 or 16×32 The size can vary a bit with wall size.
(please note which size your mural proposal is for and if you would like it considered for both sizes)
Installation: Some murals may be painted on panels for installation when the wall is not appropriate for paint.
All murals must have anti-graffiti top coat applied.
**Muralists may submit and be chosen for more than one mural.

Qualification: Open to qualified muralists working in Lake County California. Please read the requirements carefully. Artists are asked to submit a proposal for the intended artwork, size of proposed mural as well as examples of previously completed murals.
Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) artists are encouraged to apply.
Insurance Requirements: The artist/company must provide to Lake County Creative Consulting proof of liability insurance prior to the start of work on the building. Muralists may submit and be chosen for more than one mural.
Each 16x 32 foot mural – $8,000
Each 8×16 foot mural – $4,000
